William Harold Dickerson was born on June 21, 1932 in Louisville, Mississippi. He took his primary education in the local public school system, graduating from Louisville High School in 1950. Afterward he attended Mississippi State University.
He was employed with General Electric, and later with Tempco, before starting his own business selling and servicing household appliances.
He was married.
Brother Dickerson received the degrees in Freemasonry from lodges in Mississippi and Texas. He was initiated as an Entered Apprentice Mason in Louisville Lodge No. 75 on September 10, 1953; passed to the degree of Fellowcraft in that same lodge on July 17, 1954; and raised to the sublime degree of a Master Mason in Jacques DeMolay Lodge No. 1390 on February 24, 1962. He served as Worshipful Master of the Lodge during the 1969-1970 term.
By 1984, Brother Dickerson had moved back to the state of Mississippi, residing in the town of Poplarville, where he passed away in the early part of this decade.
